Zonar Systems RFID Bus Pass and Ground Traffic Control
Since 2013, Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i has been using Zonar Student and Fleet tracking system. The bus pass is a RFID (radio frequency ID) powered by Zonar that provides information to the transportation department to track and monitor student ridership in a safe and non-intrusive way. To scan the RFID card, students must touch the card to the reader on the bus. Information is then sent to secure website that tracks the time and location where the students get on or off the bus.
Ground Traffic Control gives the transportation department real-time visibility into school bus operations from any web-enabled device and alerting functions so we can make better decisions for our campus.
