Kamehameha Schools' distance learning has been extended through the rest of the school year 2019-2020. Kamehameha Schools has also cancelled all in-person and community education summer programs.

Update: To reduce stress on ʻOhana, we are shutting the (ES and MS) access to the bus application for today. This will allow parents to 1) Continue their day, without the added stress of having to check KS Connect every five minutes, and 2) It will allow our ITD the time to fully troubleshoot the issue. Application will be reopen tomorrow.

Returning Students: the online 2020-2021 bus application will be available effective April 6th through April 30th. You may still submit an application after the April 30th deadline; however, your child may be placed on a wait list based on seating availability and may be assessed a late fee.
New Invitees (Grades K, 4, and 6 through 9): We encourage you to complete a bus application as soon as you are granted access to KS Connect. Bus seats are limited and your child may be wait listed based on seat availability.

We continue to carefully monitor the coronavirus situation, which is evolving quickly. It may be necessary for Kamehameha Schools to continue to adapt and update our practices in response to guidance and directives from state and federal health officials. As more information becomes available, we are committed to providing timely, relevant updates about any impacts on KS operations.
Returning Students: The application period will be open from April 6, 2019 to April 30, 2020. The online bus application process is currently being tested and finalized.

In an effort to support social distancing, follow Governor Ige's mandates, and minimize the spread of COVID-19 cases across Hawaiʻi we have officially begun working remotely as of 3/24/20. Although the evening Hōʻike show has been cancelled for Friday, March 13th, High School students will still be dismissed 11:30am and will be following the HS Early Release Bus Schedule.
On Wednesday, March 11th, High School will be dismissed at 3:00 pm and riders will be following the Regular (Mo, Tu, Th, Fr) Bus Schedule, with the exception of our R2 Honoka'a and R3 Ka'u routes.
On Thursday, March 12th, there will be NO Activities/Evening Buses for the High School campus due to the Hōʻīke. However, the Activities/Evening Buses will continue service for the Middle School bus riders and depart campus at 5:40 PM. This means the drop-off times for Middle School bus riders will be approximately 45 minutes earlier than normal:
On Friday, March 13th, High School will be dismissed at 11:30am and will be following the HS Early Release Bus Schedule.
